Welcome to our fourth edition

by Hector Cardenas, President and CEO

Welcome to the fourth issue of our biweekly newsletter. This week we bring you some new functionalities and some tips and reminders of useful features already present in Vivenda. Remember that you can browse past issues of this newsletter on our website. And please send us your comments and suggestions to newsletters@vivendasoftware.com

We help you to avoid data entry errors

We have built in a new feature to reduce data entry errors in critical items, such as pricing of contract amendments. Now, Vivenda prompts you to confirm price information and verifies that the information typed matches the original amount.

Confirm Data Fields

Data confirmation is currently available for Amendments (in the New Contract workflow) and unit pricing. We will be expanding the use of this feature to other areas of the system that have particular sensitive data.

Best Practices for Commission Payment

Commission Payment with Vivenda is a sinch. But understanding the process is crucial to accurate and on time commission payment.

In Vivenda commissions are generated in a three step process:

  1. Commissions Earned are created based on the default commission structure and any outside agents added during the contract customization step of the New Contract workflow when the contract is signed.
  2. Commission Due are created when the customer has made a full payment on an outstanding scheduled deposit and this has been registered in Vivenda using the Receive Payments workflow. When this happens Vivenda creates the commissions due for each agent involved in the sale, and marks them for payment at a later time.
  3. Commission are Paid when the Pay Commissions workflow is run for a specific agent. Vivenda finds all outstanding commissions for that agent, calculates the total and creates a summary transaction. Once the payment process is complete, the commissions are marked as paid.

Take advantage of checklists

Vivenda includes checklists to help you verify that you have completed all necessary data entry for contract generation and to prepare a unit for closing. These checklists are available as part of the New Contract, Walkthrough and Closing processes.
