Navigation Tips:

In Vivenda it is really easy to manage tasks and workitems: in the navigation tree, expand the inbox, look to see which of your queues have pending items (indicated by a number next to them) and then drill down. Remember you can sort items in your inbox by date, order or any other attribute. For more information consult the online help.

F11 Gives You More Space :

Did you know that if you hit the F11 key while in Vivenda the application will expand to take up all of your screen? This makes it easier to work and see all your information. To undo, just hit F11 again.

Do you know what a Workflow is?

It is a series of steps that need to be performed in order for a business process to be complete. In each step you need to enter certain data, or perform certain activities, like printing documents before proceeding to the next step. Several people can intervene in a workflow, owning different steps. Your Inbox shows you the workflows you are involved in, and the work-queues within them contain the items you are responsible for.

Easier Process for Customer Entry

We have made an important improvement to Vivenda's new customer contact action so customer entry and assignment to agents is easier and faster.

Up to now, you have had to create the new customer and then route the follow up event that the system created to the appropriate user.

We have taken a step out of the process by allowing you to designate the user responsible for the automatic follow up from the get go.

Just type in the first few letters of the user's name and click on Find. Or if you want to send it to yourself, click on Find without typing anything.

With My Tasks, Keep Things on Track

We have introduced a completely new functionality this week. My Tasks gives you a way to track any work item in a personalized way. You can initiate a New Task from anywhere in the system by going to My Shortcuts and clicking on the New Task item. The pop-up screen let's you describe the task and classify it. You can create Project level tasks, or Unit level tasks and you can also create relationships between a task and different kinds of business entities, such as banks, brokers or title companies.

Once you have created the task, it will appear in your My Tasks inbox for you to edit, and when done with it send to your Completed Tasks queue.
